Sergeant Patrick Sahota

On January 15, 2017, Patrick Sahota, Correctional Sergeant, Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Facility, was awarded the CPOST recognition award for his commitment to excellence in training and development. Your diligent work on Communication and De-escalation Techniques Curriculum assisted in bringing the training to life. Your facilitation of training on Cultural Diversity at the institutional level and during Academy training helps to provide our officers with best practice training, which is critical to success in the field. You teach with enthusiasm and passion, which creates a connection to your students and provides a higher level of engagement. The dedication and patience you show your students continues to help CTC produce well-rounded and equipped Correctional Officers.
